Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
The short version. Teach and sell what you have the right to sell, describe it honestly, and treat your students fairly. No pirated or copied courses, no misleading promises, no spam, and nothing illegal or harmful. Payment providers hold us to strict rules, and we hold every school to them too.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses Klasira, including your team and anyone you invite.
1. Content you have the right to sell
- Only upload and sell courses, videos, files and products that you created or have a license to sell and distribute.
- No pirated, leaked, copied or resold courses, e-books, software, templates, fonts, music or videos, including "private label rights" content you don't actually hold rights to.
- Don't use other people's names, likenesses, logos or trademarks in a way that suggests they endorse or created your school when they didn't.
- Get permission from anyone who appears in your lessons where the law requires it.
2. Honest selling
- Describe each course and product accurately, including what's included and how students get access.
- No guaranteed-income, get-rich-quick or "make money fast" schemes, and no promises of earnings, results or outcomes you can't support.
- No false or misleading health, medical, legal or financial claims. Don't present your course as a substitute for professional advice or treatment.
- No fake reviews, testimonials, enrollment counts, countdown timers or scarcity claims.
- Show students your prices, renewal terms and refund policy before they buy, and honor them.
- Don't sell certifications, accreditations or qualifications you aren't authorized to award.
3. What you can't sell or host
- Anything illegal where you or your students are, or content that promotes or instructs illegal activity.
- Sexually explicit content, or any content that sexualizes minors.
- Hateful, harassing or violent content, or content that targets people for a protected characteristic.
- Weapons, drugs, or other goods and services that our payment providers prohibit.
- Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing recruitment, gambling, or high-risk financial products such as trading signals sold as guaranteed returns.
- Malware, hacking tools intended to harm others, or files designed to damage the devices of people who open them.
Stripe and PayPal also have their own lists of prohibited and restricted businesses, which apply to sales made through your connected accounts.
4. Upsells, affiliates and community
- Show the price and what's included before a student accepts an order bump or upsell. Don't pre-tick add-ons or hide charges.
- Affiliates must disclose that they earn a commission, and must not spam, bid on your brand in misleading ways, use fake reviews or make claims you couldn't make yourself. You're responsible for the affiliates you approve.
- Moderate your community spaces. No harassment, hate, spam, sexual content or illegal content in posts and comments, and no sharing of course content you don't have the right to share.
- Review anything the AI course builder drafts before you publish it, and don't use it to copy someone else's course.
5. Email and marketing
- Email only students and contacts who agreed to hear from you, or where the law otherwise allows it. No purchased, rented or scraped lists, ever.
- Keep the unsubscribe link in marketing emails and honor unsubscribes. Don't re-add people who opted out.
- Follow the anti-spam laws that apply to you, such as CAN-SPAM, CASL and the GDPR and ePrivacy rules.
- No phishing, deceptive subject lines, or emails that hide who they're from.
6. Your students' information
- Only collect the information you need to run your school, and use it only for that.
- Don't sell or rent your students' personal information, or use Klasira to build contact lists for others.
- Don't ask students for passwords, full card numbers or government ID numbers through your school's forms.
7. The service itself
Don't:
- try to reach accounts, schools or data that aren't yours, or probe, scan or test Klasira's security without our written permission;
- use Klasira mainly as file or video hosting for content that isn't part of your school;
- scrape Klasira, overload it, or use it in a way that degrades it for others;
- share one login between several people, or work around plan limits such as team seats or features;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell Klasira or its themes, or use it to build a competing product; or
- use Klasira for anything illegal.
8. Enforcement
If we believe this policy has been broken, we may remove content, unpublish a course, a community space or a school, pause emails or an affiliate program, suspend users, or close the account, depending on how serious the problem is. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. We act right away when there's a risk of fraud or harm to students, when we receive a valid infringement complaint, or when a payment provider or law enforcement requires it. We may report suspected crimes to the authorities.
9. Reporting abuse or infringement
If you see a school selling pirated or infringing content, making misleading claims, or otherwise breaking this policy, tell us and include the address of the page. For copyright complaints, include a description of your work and a statement that you're the owner or authorized to act for them. You can also email [email protected].
