Terms of Service
Last updated: October 23, 2026
The short version. Klasira gives you the tools to run an online school: a website from a theme, courses, digital products, a checkout and marketing tools. When you sell to your students, you're the seller: payments go into your own Stripe account (or, for one-time offers, your own PayPal business account), and the sale is between you and your student. Your courses and your student list are yours. Only sell content you have the right to sell, follow the laws that apply to your sales, and treat your students fairly.
1. Who we are and accepting these terms
Klasira is operated by Scalry Inc, a company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States ("we", "us", "our").
These terms are an agreement between us and the person or business that creates a Klasira account to run a school ("you", the "creator"). If you accept them for a company, you confirm you're authorized to bind it. If you don't agree, don't use Klasira.
People who buy from or learn in your school ("students") don't have a Klasira account under these terms. Their relationship is with you, as explained in section 6.
2. What Klasira does
Depending on your plan, Klasira lets you:
- build a school website from a theme, on a klasira.com address or a domain you own;
- create courses with sections and lessons (video, text and downloadable files), and sell digital products;
- sell one-time offers, bundles and, on plans that include them, subscriptions, memberships and payment plans, through your own checkout, with coupons, order bumps and one-click upsells;
- draft course outlines, lessons, video scripts and quiz questions with an AI course builder;
- run an affiliate program and a community for your students;
- give students a library and course player, with sign-in by emailed link and progress tracking;
- keep students and leads as contacts, and use email automations, funnels, landing pages, forms, booking and a blog; and
- invite team members to help run your school.
We may improve, change or retire features over time. If we remove something material from a paid plan, we'll tell you in advance.
3. Accounts and your team
You need an account to use Klasira, and you must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Keep your login details secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You're responsible for activity under your account.
The account owner can invite team members and choose what each can do. The owner is responsible for who they invite, for removing people who should no longer have access, and for their team's compliance with these terms.
4. Plans, trials and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Plans set limits, such as team seats and which features are included (for example, subscriptions and memberships). New accounts may start with a free trial; if you don't cancel before it ends, the plan you chose starts and is billed.
Trials, renewals, cancellation and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms. Plan prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes unless stated. If we change the price of your plan, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before it applies to you.
Transaction fees. We don't take a percentage of your sales on any paid plan. Stripe and PayPal charge their own processing fees under their own terms. If we ever offer a plan with a transaction fee, it will be shown clearly on that plan before you choose it.
5. Payments you collect from students
To sell, you connect your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect, and you may also connect your own PayPal business account. Card payments from your students (including subscriptions, payment plans and upsells) are processed by Stripe and paid into your Stripe account; PayPal payments, available on one-time offers, are processed by PayPal and paid into your PayPal account, under your agreement with each provider. We don't receive, hold or pay out your students' money.
- You're responsible for your payment account, including meeting the provider's requirements, its fees, payouts, chargebacks, disputes and refunds.
- Stripe or PayPal may limit, hold or close your account with them under their own rules. We're not responsible for their decisions, but we'll help where we reasonably can.
- The currencies you can sell in, and the countries where you can receive payouts, depend on Stripe and PayPal.
- Upsells. A one-click upsell is charged to the card the student just used, on your Stripe account. Make the price and what's included clear on the upsell page, and only charge students who choose to accept it.
- You're responsible for taxes on your sales, such as income tax, VAT or GST and sales tax, including any obligation to register, charge, collect or report them.
- Stripe Tax. If you enable Stripe Tax in your own Stripe account, Klasira can ask Stripe to calculate and add tax to card payments. Stripe charges you for Stripe Tax under its own terms. Tax calculation depends on your Stripe Tax settings and registrations, and you remain responsible for your tax obligations; we don't give tax advice or guarantee that the tax calculated is correct.
6. You and your students
You're the seller of record for everything you sell through Klasira. Each sale is a contract between you and your student. We provide the software and aren't a party to it.
- Your terms. You decide your prices, what each offer includes, how long students have access, and your own refund policy, and you must show students clear terms before they buy.
- Consumer law. You're responsible for complying with consumer protection laws where your students are, including rules on pre-purchase information, subscriptions and cancellation, and any right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content.
- Honest marketing. Describe your courses and products accurately. Don't promise income, health or other outcomes you can't support.
- Support. You're responsible for supporting your students, answering their questions and handling their refund requests. We may refer students who contact us to you.
- Access. If your account is suspended or closed, or your plan ends, your school and your students' access to it may stop. You're responsible for any commitments you made to your students about access.
Your affiliate program
If you turn on affiliates, Klasira tracks referral links, clicks, sales and commissions using the commission rates, cookie window and refund hold you set. The arrangement with your affiliates is between you and them. You set and publish your affiliate terms, pay affiliates yourself (for example by PayPal or bank transfer), and are responsible for any tax forms or reporting. Commissions on refunded sales are voided. Tracking can miss a referral, for example when a visitor blocks cookies, so we don't guarantee that every referral is recorded. You must require your affiliates to follow our Acceptable Use Policy, including disclosing that they earn a commission.
Your community
If you open community spaces, you're responsible for moderating them, using the pin, lock and hide tools, and for the rules you set for members. Posts and comments by students are their content, which they must have the right to share, and must follow our Acceptable Use Policy.
7. Your content
What you put into Klasira stays yours. That includes your courses, lessons, videos, files, digital products, website pages, blog posts and emails ("Your Content"), and your students' and contacts' records ("Customer Data"). You give us a limited permission to host, copy, process, transcode, display and deliver Your Content and Customer Data only to provide and support Klasira, to keep it secure, and as required by law. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your account, apart from backups that expire on their normal schedule.
You confirm that you own Your Content or have every right, license and permission needed to sell and distribute it, including for any music, images, video, software, fonts or third-party materials it contains, and for anyone who appears in it. We don't review content before it's published and don't endorse it.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content on a school hosted by Klasira infringes your copyright, contact us with the address of the page, a description of the work, your contact details and a statement that you're the owner or authorized to act for them. We'll review it, may remove or disable the content, and may close the accounts of repeat infringers.
8. Students' and contacts' personal information
For information about your students, leads and contacts, you're the controller: you decide what's collected and why. We process it on your instructions as your service provider, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and use it, for giving any privacy notice the law requires, and for only sending marketing emails to people who agreed to receive them or where the law otherwise allows it, with a working unsubscribe link.
We don't sell Customer Data and don't use it for advertising.
9. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. Among other things, it forbids selling pirated or infringing courses, misleading claims, spam and illegal content.
10. Domains and third-party services
If you connect a domain you own, you're responsible for its registration, renewal and DNS settings. If you connect another service, such as Stripe, PayPal or your calendar, your use of it is governed by that provider's terms. We access it only to deliver the feature you turned on, and you can disconnect it at any time. We're not responsible for third-party services or their availability.
11. AI features
Some features use artificial intelligence, such as the AI course builder, which drafts course outlines, lessons, video scripts and quiz questions, and uses AI credits from your plan. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or similar to existing material. Review anything it produces before you publish or send it; you're responsible for what you publish.
12. Security and availability
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Your Content and Customer Data, described in our Privacy Policy. We aim to keep Klasira available at all times, but maintenance and events outside our control can interrupt it. Keep your own copies of your course files.
13. Our intellectual property and feedback
We own Klasira, including its software, themes, design and content, other than Your Content and Customer Data. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it, including the themes for your own school, while your account is active. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
14. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that receives a valid infringement complaint, that puts students, other people or Klasira at risk, that a payment provider or the law requires us to act on, or whose fees are unpaid. Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
After an account closes, you have 30 days to ask for an export of your data, such as your student list and course content, after which we delete Your Content and Customer Data, apart from copies we must keep by law and routine backups that expire on their normal schedule.
15. Disclaimers
Apart from the commitments in these terms, Klasira is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise that Klasira will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that you'll make any number of sales.
16. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, sales or data, even if advised they were possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to Klasira is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited by law, or to your payment obligations or indemnity.
17. Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Your Content (including claims that it infringes someone's rights), your sales to and dealings with your students, your emails and marketing, your taxes, or your breach of these terms or of the law, and cover the resulting costs and damages.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to try to resolve it informally for 30 days.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Klasira after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
20. General
These terms, with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between us about Klasira. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign them in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
21. Contact
Questions about these terms: contact us or email [email protected].
