Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

The short version. This policy covers what creators pay Klasira for their plan. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, plans renew until you cancel, and you can cancel yourself any time. If your first payment doesn't work out, tell us within 14 days and we'll refund it. Refunds for courses and products bought from a school are up to the creator who runs that school (see section 7).

1. Free trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial of the plan they choose. You can pick a theme, build courses and connect payments during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged. If you don't cancel, your plan starts when the trial ends and the first period is billed then. We may change or end the trial offer for new sign-ups at any time. That doesn't affect trials already running.

2. Plans and renewal

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period, until you cancel. You'll see the price and renewal date before you pay, and on your subscription page afterwards. Yearly plans cost less than twelve months of the monthly price. There are no setup fees and no transaction fees on your sales.

3. Changing plans

You can change plans at any time from your subscription page. Moving to a bigger plan takes effect right away, and the difference for the rest of your current period is added to your next invoice. Moving to a smaller plan also takes effect right away, with no credit for the current period, and the lower price applies from your next renewal. If you use features or seats the smaller plan doesn't include, such as subscriptions and memberships, nothing is deleted, but those features may stop working for new sales until you upgrade again, and existing subscriptions may need your attention.

4. Cancelling

Cancel at any time from your subscription page, without contacting us or giving a reason. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for. You keep full access until then and aren't charged again. There's no cancellation fee. Before your access ends, export what you need and let your students know about any change to their access. If you can't cancel in the app for any reason, contact us and we'll cancel it from the day you asked.

5. Refunds of Klasira fees

Fees already paid are generally non-refundable, and we don't prorate a period you cancel partway through, with these exceptions:

  • Your first payment, within 14 days. If your first paid period on a new subscription isn't working for you, contact us within 14 days of the charge for a full refund.
  • An annual renewal you didn't use. If a yearly plan renewed and you haven't made a sale or enrolled a student since, contact us within 30 days of the charge for a full refund.
  • Duplicate or incorrect charges are always refunded in full.
  • Extended outages. If your school is unavailable for a prolonged period through our fault, we'll credit or refund the affected time.

Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5-10 business days depending on your bank. We don't refund fees for an account suspended or closed for breaking our Acceptable Use Policy. Nothing here limits any refund or cancellation rights you have under the law where you live.

6. Credits

If your plan includes credits for AI features, the included credits reset each billing cycle. Unused included credits don't roll over and aren't refundable. Credits you buy separately are non-refundable once used.

7. Students: refunds for courses and products

When you buy a course, product or membership from a school that runs on Klasira, you buy it from the creator who runs that school, and your payment goes to their own Stripe account (or PayPal account, for one-time offers paid with PayPal). The creator sets the refund and cancellation terms for what they sell and handles refund requests. Contact the school directly, using the contact details on its site or by replying to your receipt email.

  • To stop a subscription, membership or payment plan, use the cancellation option the school provides, or ask the creator.
  • Order bumps and one-click upsells are separate purchases from the same school, under the same creator's refund terms.
  • Creators must follow the consumer protection laws that apply to their students, including any right to cancel a purchase of digital content.
  • If you can't reach a creator, or think a school is acting unfairly or fraudulently, tell us. We can't issue refunds on a creator's behalf, but we'll follow up with them and act under our Acceptable Use Policy where needed. You may also be able to ask your card issuer, or PayPal if you paid with PayPal, for help.

8. Questions

For anything about billing, cancelling or a refund, contact us or email [email protected]. We usually reply within one business day.
