Does Klasira take a share of my sales?
No. There are 0% transaction fees on every plan. You pay your monthly or yearly subscription, and Stripe or PayPal charge their own standard processing fees on each payment, as they would anywhere.
How do I get paid?
You connect your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect for card payments, including subscriptions, payment plans and upsells. For one-time offers you can also connect a PayPal business account. The money goes into your account, not ours, on your own Stripe or PayPal schedule. We never hold your payouts.
Can I sell in my own currency?
Yes. Each school has its own currency, set when you create it, and your prices and checkout use it. The currencies and payout countries available to you depend on Stripe and PayPal in your country.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Every school gets a free address like yourname.klasira.com, and you can connect a domain or subdomain you own, such as academy.yoursite.com. We take care of the SSL certificate.
What can I sell?
Online courses with video, text and downloadable lessons; digital downloads such as e-books, templates and audio; bundles of several courses and products; and, on Pro and Business, memberships and subscriptions billed monthly or yearly, and payment plans such as 3 monthly payments. You can offer coupons at checkout. You can add a tick-box order bump at checkout and one-click upsells after a card payment. You can also sell coaching calls through the booking page.
Can I add quizzesassignmentscertificates?
Yes, on every plan. Quizzes can be single answer, multiple answers, true/false or short answer, are graded automatically, and can have a pass mark, an attempt limit and explanations shown after submitting. A quiz can be required to complete its lesson. Assignments let students hand in text and a file for you to approve or send back with feedback. When a student finishes a course they get a certificate automatically, printable as a PDF, with a public verification link and an "Add to LinkedIn" button.
Can I release lessons over time?
Yes. Set a lesson to open a number of days after a student enrolls, or on a date, or make lessons open in order so each one unlocks when the previous one is done.
Can I move my students from Teachable, Thinkific or Kajabi?
Yes. Export your students from your current platform and import them into Klasira from a CSV file. You rebuild your courses in Klasira's course builder.
Can AI help me build a course?
Yes. Give the AI course builder a topic and it drafts a full outline with modules, lessons and quizzes. It can also draft lesson text or video scripts, and write quiz questions from a module's lessons. It uses AI credits, and everything it writes is a draft for you to edit.
Can I run an affiliate program?
Yes. Turn it on, set a commission (with different rates per offer if you like), a cookie window and a refund hold before commissions become payable. Affiliates join from your school's /affiliates page and get a dashboard with their links, clicks, sales and earnings. You pay them yourself, by PayPal or bank transfer, mark them paid, and can export everything to CSV. Refunded sales void the commission.
Is there a community for students?
Yes. Create spaces for all your students or for one course, where members post, comment and like. Announcement spaces are for your own posts, and members get them by email. You can pin, lock or hide posts.
Do you handle sales tax and VAT?
If you turn on Stripe Tax in your own Stripe account, Klasira can add sales tax, VAT or GST to card payments automatically, with prices shown tax-inclusive or exclusive. Stripe charges for Stripe Tax, and you stay responsible for registering and filing where you owe tax.
How are lesson videos protected?
Uploaded videos are encoded into several qualities and streamed to enrolled students through signed links that expire, so there's no permanent public link to share. Like any streaming video, a determined viewer could still record their screen.
How do students sign in?
With a link we email them. There's no password to create or forget. After buying, they get an email with their sign-in link and go straight to their library and the course player, which saves their progress.
Who owns my courses and my student list?
You do. Your content stays yours, and every student is a contact in your CRM that you can email and export. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.
How does the free trial work?
