Run a community for your students
Spaces for all students or one course, announcements by email, and moderation.
Open Community and tick Turn on the community. Anyone with a course or download from you can join, on your school's own site. Open the community takes you there.
Spaces
A space is a topic, such as Introductions, Wins or Questions. Click + New space, give it a name and a description, and choose who can see it: all students, or only students of one course. Tick Announcements for a space where only your school posts and members get each post by email.
Posting
Under Post as your school, pick a space, write a title and the post, and click Post. Tick Pin to the top for something everyone should see first, such as a welcome.
Moderating
Under Latest activity, every post has Pin, Lock (no more comments) and Hide. You can hide single comments too, and reply as your school.
