Set up your school in four steps

The first time you open Klasira, you land on Set up your school. It has four steps and takes about ten minutes. You can change everything later.

1. Theme

Each theme is a complete website for your school: a home page, your courses and an about page. Click Preview to open one in a new tab, then click Use on the one you like. See Pick, edit and change your theme.

2. Your school

• School name: what students see at the top of every page and in your emails.
• One line about it (optional): a tagline, such as "Plant-based cooking classes for busy families".
• Your school's address: your school lives at yourname.klasira.com. Use 3 to 40 lowercase letters, numbers and dashes. If the address is taken, try another one. You can connect your own domain later.
• Currency: what your students pay in. You can change it until you make your first sale.

Click Create my school.

3. Get paid

Students pay you through your own Stripe account, so the money goes straight to you. Choose Where your business is and click Connect Stripe. See Connect Stripe and get paid.

4. Launch

Your school's site is live at its address straight away. Click Go to my school to open your dashboard. Next, create your first course.
