Set assignments and review them
Students answer in writing and can attach a file; you approve the work or ask for changes.
An assignment is a lesson. In the course's Curriculum, add a lesson with the type Assignment, and write the instructions in the Lesson text. Students answer in writing and can attach a file.
Tick I review each submission if you want to check the work: the lesson only completes when you approve it. Leave it unticked and the lesson completes as soon as the student hands it in.
Reviewing
- You get an email when a student sends their work. Open Students, then Assignments. Filter by Waiting for review, Approved or Changes requested.
- Click Review. You see your instructions, their answer and any file they attached.
- Write your feedback, then click Approve or Ask for changes.
The student gets an email either way. Approving completes the lesson for them.
