One answer, several answers, true or false and short answer questions, with a pass mark and attempt limits.

Updated October 26, 2026

A quiz is a lesson. In the course's Curriculum, add a lesson with the type Quiz.

Settings

  • Pass mark (%): the score needed to pass.
  • Attempts allowed: 0 means unlimited.
  • Must pass to complete the lesson: the lesson only counts as done once the student passes.

Click Save. The questions come next, below the lesson.

Questions

  1. Type the question under New question, choose a Type (One answer, Several answers, True or false or Short answer) and click Add question.
  2. Fill in the answers and tick the correct one (or ones). For a short answer, list every answer you accept; they're not case-sensitive.
  3. Add an Explanation if you like, then click Save question.

Empty an answer row to remove it. Use the arrows to reorder questions. Students see the right answers and your explanations after they submit.

The course's Insights tab shows each quiz's average score and how many attempts there have been.
