Lessons: video, text and downloads

Upload videos or link YouTube, Vimeo, Loom or Wistia, write text lessons, attach files, and set free previews.

Updated October 26, 2026

Click a lesson in the course's Curriculum to edit it. Pick its Type: Video, Text or Download.

Video

  • Click Upload a video. Big files are fine: the upload keeps going if you leave the page, and picks up again if your connection drops.
  • Or pick a video you uploaded before from Or pick one from your library.
  • Or paste a link to YouTube, Vimeo, Loom or Wistia.

Lesson text

Notes, a transcript, instructions or the whole lesson. Plain text keeps its line breaks, and HTML works too.

Downloads

Attach worksheets, slides or templates under Downloads, with an optional name shown to students. Each file can be up to 500 MB. Only students enrolled in the course can download them.

Who can see it

  • Free preview: anyone can watch this lesson: visitors can open it from the course page without buying. One or two free lessons help people decide.
  • Visible to students: untick it to hide a lesson you're still working on. It shows as Hidden in the curriculum.
  • Length (minutes): shown in the curriculum on the course page.

Click Save, or Save and back to the course. Preview opens the lesson in the course player.
