In short

A certificate of completion shows the student's name, the course title, the completion date, the issuer and a signature, ideally with a unique certificate ID. Fill those in here, pick a design and download a high-resolution PNG, or print it to PDF on Letter or A4 landscape. Call it a certificate of completion, not an accredited qualification.

Questions

Certificate of Completion Maker FAQ

What should a certificate of completion include?

The student's full name, the course title, the completion date, your name or school's name, a signature and, ideally, a unique certificate ID so it can be checked. Hours of study or the assessment passed are optional extras.

How do I save the certificate as a PDF?

Select Print to PDF. Your browser's print dialog opens with the certificate filling a landscape page; choose Save as PDF (or Microsoft Print to PDF) as the printer. Check that margins are set to none if your browser asks.

Can I issue certificates for my own course?

Yes. Anyone can issue a certificate of completion for their own course. Don't call it accredited, a license or a certification unless a recognized body has approved the course.

Is anything I type uploaded?

No. The certificate is drawn on a canvas in your browser, and the PNG and PDF are made on your device. Close the tab and nothing is kept.

Can students add the certificate to LinkedIn?

Yes. LinkedIn members add it under Licenses & certifications with the name, issuing organization, date, a credential ID and a credential URL. A verification link makes it easy for others to check.

Can certificates be issued automatically?

Klasira issues certificates automatically when a student completes a course, printable as a PDF, each with a public verification link and an Add to LinkedIn button. This free maker is for one-off certificates made by hand.
