On-page checkout: buy without leaving the page

Students pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link right on the course or download page.

Updated October 26, 2026

With on-page checkout, a course or download page has a Buy now button that opens the payment form right there, instead of sending the buyer to a separate checkout page. Fewer steps means fewer people drop off.

  • The buyer enters their name and email, then clicks Continue to payment.
  • Stripe's own payment form appears on the page: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link, plus Klarna or Afterpay where your Stripe account offers them.
  • Order bumps still show as a tick box, if you've set one.

It works on one-time, subscription and payment plan offers once Stripe is connected. There's nothing to switch on. Free offers and coaching calls keep their own pages.

Buyers with a coupon code click Have a coupon? under the form, which opens the full checkout page where they can enter it.
