Kajabi Pricing 2026: Every Plan, Fee and Real Yearly Cost
Kajabi's three plans, what each one gates, the Kajabi Payments fees on top, how payouts work and what a year of Kajabi really costs on $60,000 of sales.
Kajabi is the best-known all-in-one platform for creators: courses, coaching, communities, newsletters, podcasts, email marketing, funnels and websites under one subscription. It's also one of the most expensive, and the price on the plan card isn't the whole bill. Product and contact limits decide which plan you need, and Kajabi Payments has its own fee schedule.
This post lists every Kajabi plan with its price, what each one includes and leaves out, the fees on each sale, how payouts work, what costs extra, and what a year really costs at a realistic sales volume. Every figure comes from Kajabi's own pricing and help pages.
The short answer
Kajabi costs $179, $249 or $499 a month (Basic, Growth and Pro), or $143, $199 or $399 a month billed yearly. There's no free plan; the standard trial is 14 days. Kajabi takes no cut of sales on Kajabi Payments or PayPal, but card processing is 2.9%, 2.8% or 2.7% + 30¢ by plan, and other payment providers cost 2%, 1% or 0.5% extra.
Key takeaways
- Basic ($143 a month billed yearly) allows 5 products and 2,500 contacts. Growth ($199) raises that to 50 products and 25,000 contacts and adds affiliates, cohort courses and advanced automations. Pro ($399) adds unlimited products, a branded app and the API.
- Kajabi Payments adds 0.7% on subscriptions and payment plans, 1.5% on international cards and $0.15 a sale for its sales tax tool.
- New Kajabi Payments accounts are paid monthly, with a seven-business-day delay.
- On $60,000 of sales a year, Basic costs $1,716 in plan fees on Kajabi Payments; using another payment provider on Basic adds $1,200.
Disclosure: we make Klasira, a course platform that competes with Kajabi. Every price and rule here comes from Kajabi's own public pages, checked in October 2026 and linked at the end. Prices change, so confirm on the vendor's page before you buy.
Kajabi plans and prices
Prices are in US dollars. Yearly billing works out 20% cheaper, and every plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Billed yearly | Products / contacts | Admins | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $179/month | $143/month ($1,716 a year) | 5 / 2,500 | 2 | A first course or coaching offer |
| Growth | $249/month | $199/month ($2,388 a year) | 50 / 25,000 | 11 | Growing businesses that want affiliates, cohorts and automations |
| Pro | $499/month | $399/month ($4,788 a year) | Unlimited / 100,000 | 26 | Several brands, or anyone who wants a branded app |
How much does Kajabi cost per month?
Kajabi Basic costs $179 a month on monthly billing, Growth $249 and Pro $499. Pay for a year up front and they drop to $143, $199 and $399 a month: $1,716, $2,388 and $4,788 a year. There's no cheaper tier and no free plan, so Kajabi starts well above Teachable, Podia and Thinkific's entry plans.
Every plan includes unlimited funnels, landing pages and marketing emails, the Kajabi app for your students, video transcriptions and translations, a custom domain, checkout pages, third-party integrations and Kajabi's AI features. What changes between plans is capacity (products, contacts, admins, communities and websites) and a handful of gated features.
What does each Kajabi plan include?
| Basic | Growth | Pro | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Products | 5 | 50 | Unlimited |
| Contacts | 2,500 | 25,000 | 100,000 |
| Admin users | 2 | 11 | 26 |
| Communities / websites | 1 / 1 | 1 / 1 | 3 / 3 |
| AI credits | 0 | 500 | 1,000 |
| Affiliate program | No | Yes | Yes |
| Cohort courses | No | Yes | Yes |
| Advanced automations and webhooks | No | Yes | Yes |
| Comment-to-DM | No | Yes | Yes |
| Remove Kajabi branding | No | Yes | Yes |
| Branded mobile app and API | No | No | Yes |
| Custom code editor | No | No | Yes |
Five products is the limit most people meet first: a couple of courses, a coaching offer and a community use most of it. Contacts count everyone on your list, not only buyers, so a free lead magnet can push you past 2,500 before your sales justify Growth.
Kajabi values the branded app at $199 a month and the API at $25 a month, and includes both only on Pro.
Does Kajabi charge transaction fees?
Kajabi doesn't take a revenue share as a platform. Sell through Kajabi Payments or PayPal and the only cut is processing. Connect another payment provider and Kajabi adds its own fee on top of that provider's: 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro.
Kajabi Payments, the built-in processor, has this fee schedule in the US:
| Kajabi Payments (US) | Fee |
|---|---|
| Cards and wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link) | 2.9% + 30¢ on Basic, 2.8% + 30¢ on Growth, 2.7% + 30¢ on Pro |
| International cards | +1.5% |
| Currency conversion | +1% |
| Subscriptions and payment plans | +0.7% on every payment in the series |
| Kajabi Sales Tax | $0.15 a transaction, on offers where it's switched on |
| Klarna / Afterpay | 5.99% + 30¢ / 6% + 30¢ |
| ACH direct debit | 0.8%, capped at $5 |
| Disputes (chargebacks) | $15, kept even if you win |
| Refunds | No fee, but the original fees aren't returned |
So a $200 one-time sale to a US card on Basic costs $6.10 in processing. Sold as a payment plan instead, each installment pays 3.6% + 30¢.
How and when does Kajabi pay you?
New Kajabi Payments accounts start on monthly payouts with a seven-business-day transaction delay, which Kajabi says is for regulatory and compliance reasons. Daily or weekly schedules may unlock after your first sale, but availability varies by site, and an account can be held to monthly payouts after a chargeback.
Changing your linked bank account puts a mandatory seven-day hold on all payouts. Instant Payouts cost 1.5% (minimum 50¢) if you need cash before the next scheduled date. To be paid on your own processor's schedule instead, you can connect another provider, at the 2%, 1% or 0.5% Kajabi fee above.
What costs extra on Kajabi?
- More contacts: blocks of 25,000 for $125 a month, on any plan.
- AI credits: Basic includes none. Kajabi's pricing page mentions 500-credit top-ups for $15, with the details still marked as coming.
- A branded app or the API: only on Pro, so either one means paying $399 a month billed yearly.
- Processing extras: 0.7% on subscriptions and payment plans, 1.5% on international cards and $0.15 a sale for tax add up for recurring and global sellers.
- Another payment provider: 2%, 1% or 0.5% of each sale, by plan.
Is there a free plan or free trial?
Kajabi has no free plan. The standard free trial is 14 days, and Kajabi sets the trial length at sign-up, so the date in your billing settings is the one that counts. During the trial, editing email templates, "send an email" automations and bulk contact imports stay locked until you choose a paid plan. Every plan also carries a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Which Kajabi plan should you choose?
- Basic if you sell up to five products to fewer than 2,500 contacts and don't need affiliates. Use Kajabi Payments: the 2% fee on another provider wipes out much of Basic's saving over Growth.
- Growth if you want an affiliate program, cohort courses, advanced automations or no Kajabi branding, or your list is past 2,500 contacts.
- Pro if you run more than one brand, want your own app in the App Store, or need the API and custom code.
Kajabi's real strengths are breadth and polish: courses, coaching, communities, podcasts, newsletters, unlimited marketing email, funnels and a student app in one login, with no revenue share on its own payments. If you'd use most of that, the price buys genuine consolidation. If you mainly sell courses, compare the best Kajabi alternatives or read Kajabi vs Teachable.
What it costs on real sales
Example (illustration, not data): $60,000 of course sales in a year, as 300 sales of $200 to US cardholders, on yearly billing where offered. Card processing of about 2.9% + 30¢ a sale (about $1,830 here) comes on top on every platform unless a row says it's included, so it's left out of the totals.
On Kajabi Payments, Growth's lower card rate saves about $60 a year on these sales and Pro's about $120, compared with Basic's 2.9%. Payment plans and subscriptions would add 0.7% (up to $420) on any plan.
